We had a wonderful break here during May half term week. The property is beautiful and enjoys a peaceful southerly garden. The location is perfect for walking into Dawlish and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful. A fantastic property, would highly recommend.
Fantastic location in Dawlish. Beach was a 5 minute walk away. River packed with Black Swans and arcades for the kids. Stunning location and brilliant house.
The House was just perfect. Exactly as described and with a lovely seating area outside which we made use of. We'll totally be back. It was wonderful.
The Hidden House is a lovely place to stay. It truly is "hidden" and such a delightful surprise to find such a gem of a house so tucked away. We were delighted to find a Christmas tree up for us and tea and biscuits on arrival. The house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lovely to be in walking distance of the little town of Dawlish.

We had a great stay, the house was really well equipped with extra towels for beach days and everything we needed in the kitchen to make a few dinners at home. Check in was really easy and the host was very responsive with communications.
Would recommend drinking your morning cup of tea in the garden for a relaxed time and warm up to a fun day out in and around Dawlish.

Location, location, location!
5 minutes walk if that from the centre of Dawlish and a 5 minute drive to Dawlish Warren Beach which is lovely (a proper sun trap despite wind and only being 20 degrees when we were there.
The photographs of this property do not do it justice! the rooms are large, high ceilings and there is lots of light. The cottage is also so we'll equipped; I do not think that there is anything the hoast has not thought of! 5 star!
Excellent stay at The Hidden House. Don’t let the outside of the property put you off, as soon as you are through the second door the accommodation is lovely! Very spacious, perfect for a large family or 2 families holidaying together! As per the listing there is not any parking outside the property however we found a public car park a 5 minute walk away (even for myself at 8 months pregnant this was not an issue). Brilliant location, Dawlish Warren beach is a 10 minute drive and is a must visit!
The location and quality of this house is exceptional, I would highly recommend for a larger group of friends or for two families looking for seaside getaway!
A lovely home, so well equipped, super clean and comfortable. The host’s communication and check in instructions were prefect. I’d highly recommend this fabulous home. The hidden house is in a great location, short walk into town and the train station. A great base to discover Devon. Thank you both.
6 of us stayed in this lovely place with our dog. The place is close to the train station and the coast. We walked there everyday!
